Frequently asked questions

  • We do operate primarily on an appointment basis although we do accept walk ins when we can, availability is simply unpredictable. For day to day walk in inquiries, just give us a call & we can happily look into the schedule anytime - 403-252-3351. Outside of walk ins as we are a custom shop, it is always best to allow for time to design and create your tattoo. Our "process" starts out with booking a consultation with your desired artist to discuss your ideas, hopes and concerns for your tattoo in order to prepare for your tattoo appointment.

  • Please bring all possible references relevant to the work you'd like to have done if you have some ideas to help brainstorm your ideas with your artist. If you do not have photo references, this is not a problem at all of course!

At the time of consultation, if you would like to carry forward with booking your tattoo appointment, our artists request a booking fee for your appointment. Our booking fees range from $120-$800, simply depending upon your artist and your project. Details will be discussed at the time of your consultation with regards to appointments, policies and fees.

Being a cash only shop, we do have an ATM located in the shop, though if you prefer you are welcome to come to your consultation with your fee or look into e-transfer as an option with your artist.

Booking fees are NON REFUNDABLE and are subject to our 48 hour cancellation policy.* Please feel free to speak with your artist or our shop manager if you have any questions or concerns.

*48 hour cancellation policy applying to most artists in the shop, though some will differ; please confirm with your specific artist with regards to their policies.

  • Consultations are offered free of charge. Hourly/per day rates will differ by artist.

  • The cliché is totally true here - different strokes for different folks - each person will be different. If you have any concerns, don't hesitate to ask! That's what we're here for!

  • Your artist will go over their individual after care procedures with you as well as an aftercare sheet always available here at the shop, which is most often sent home with our clients.

  • 18 years old. Even with a parent or guardian, NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • Deposits are usually required for any piece that isn’t a walk-in.

Deposits will vary by artist and project and are typically non-refundable and the value is applied at your final appointment.

  • If for some reason you cant make your appointment you need to give a minimum of 48 hours notice to your artist. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your deposit.

Contact your artist to rebook your appointment and avoid the loss of your deposit.

  • Unfortunately not. For safety reasons, we do not tattoo pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.

  • Tipping is never expected but always appreciated!

  • If you'd like to, absolutely! We recommend Zensa or Hush Anesthetic. If you'd like to use Zensa, we recommend applying at least 2 hours before your tattoo appointment. Apply half of the tube & rub into the area to be tattooed. Following that, apply the other half of the tube in a THICK layer - DO NOT RUB IN, simply slap a nice thick layer over the area to be tattooed. Once the entire tube has been applied, wrap the body part as well as possible with saran wrap or cellophane over and around your numbing cream layer to eliminate contact with the air until the time of your tattoo. This process is used to maximize the use of your numbing cream as it "begins to work" when exposed to air. We generally recommend numbing agents for slightly shorter sittings as it generally loses effect after 2-3 hours. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to call anytime, however, please note that we no longer carry numbing products.
